As the Moon moves into the final degrees of Scorpio and into its waxing crescent phase, it makes a sextile to its ruler, Mars in Virgo. As we process all that has been uncovered, stirred up, and revealed over the last two days, this sextile to Mars gives us the support to take decisive and courageous action. The waxing crescent phase of the Moon can be a time to focus our direction, as more becomes visible and we see more clearly where we are going. We cannot yet see all that will be revealed this lunation cycle, but with Mars’ support, we can begin to set plans into motion that activate what we’ve felt into during the Moon’s time in Scorpio. The Moon then ingresses into Sagittarius, co-present with Jupiter, its ruler. The journey through Scorpio may have brought us into our own depths—especially with Venus’ square to Pluto yesterday. The Moon’s entrance into Sagittarius lifts the mood, opens up our view to see not only where we might fit within the bigger picture, but also new possibilities and opportunities that we could not yet appreciate as we focused on the interior work that required our attention.
