Co Witchcraft Offerings Terms of Service and Confidentiality Policies:
Michael J. Morris commits to providing services that are within the purview of their training, practice, and profession—as an astrologer, tarot reader, yoga practitioner and teacher, reiki practitioner, and ritual facilitator—with respect to the specific services that have been purchased. If a client’s needs exceed the scope of Michael’s training, they will refer the client to another specialist when possible. The services Michael provides can be a meaningful support for processes of self-actualization, but they are not a substitute for mental healthcare, medical care, legal or financial advice.
Any information that a client shares is kept confidential between Michael and the client and will not be shared with others without the client’s explicit consent. Digital records of client’s natal charts and recordings of sessions are stored on a secure, password protected hard drive and shared with clients via private Google Drive files. Michael will not disclose who is or has been a client, but clients are always free to disclose that they have worked with Michael at their own discretion. All testimonials submitted by past clients are attributed anonymously only using initials.
The full fees for services will be paid in advance of all bookings. Once payment has been submitted, clients will receive access to Michael’s online scheduling calendar and will be able to book their session from the available dates and times. Please note that all times are given in eastern time zone in the U.S. and adjust accordingly. Please also note that it is common for available sessions to be one or more months out from the time of booking.
Rescheduling and Cancellation Policies:
Each consultation requires hours of preparation in advance of our session, and once sessions are booked, this prevents other potential clients from accessing services at that time. As such, in order to honor the advance preparation and the work we do together, consultations can be rescheduled without additional charge up to 48-hours in advance of the scheduled time. Rescheduling with less that 48-hours notice will require an additional fee of 50% the original compensation paid for services. As consultations are made available at a sliding scale, 50% of the original compensation will vary based on each client’s individual circumstances.
If clients need to cancel a session for any reason without rescheduling, they can do so up to 48-hours before the scheduled session in order to receive a full refund minus any applicable processing fees. Cancellations (without rescheduling) less than 48-hours in advance of the scheduled session—as well as “no shows” in which a client misses an appointment—forfeits the services and total cost of the session. A session will be considered missed/no show if a client is 20 minutes or more late past the scheduled start of the session. If a client misses a session without prior communication, rescheduling will require purchasing the service anew.
Refunds are only available if the session is cancelled up to 48-hours in advance of the scheduled time. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 48-hours in advance of the scheduled time, and are not available after a consultation. The cost of services is compensation for both the time spent in preparation for the session as well as the time spent in the session itself.
Rescheduling and Cancellation Policies for Free-of-Charge Sessions:
As some sessions are offered free-of-charge for people of color and Indigenous/First-Nations peoples, the following policies apply only to these sessions:
If a free session needs to be rescheduled any time less than 2 weeks before the session, the client may be put on a waitlist for rescheduling as there are often other clients already waiting for the next available free-of-charge session. Often, this will mean that the session will be rescheduled for the following month or later. Free-of-charge sessions can be rescheduled once for any reason. If a client needs to reschedule a free-of-charge session more than once, they will need to purchase these services in order to do so. This is to make sure that these sessions are made available to as many people as possible.
