Astrology for Tuesday, 8 October 2019:

10/8/2019

Today the Moon in Aquarius makes a trine to the Sun in Libra, reminding us that vital resources for who we are and who we are becoming are found not only within but also in our connections to others. Who are the relationships in your life that you love and trust enough to see you in ways that teach you more about yourself than you can know on your own? Venus enters Scorpio, which is a sign of its detriment or exile, where it can face difficulties. Venus is the planet of love, relationships, beauty, and harmony, and Scorpio demands fervent attention to our dark interiors, the depths of our most challenging feelings. As Venus moves through Scorpio, we may feel that our loving relationships are being pulled into deeper intensity and pressure, as we face decisions regarding just how intimately we are willing to be known. While not precisely a condition of mutual reception—because they are in aversion to one another—Venus and Mars are exchanging signs, creating a sympathy toward supporting one another’s needs, which could mitigate both of their times in signs of exile. Together, Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Libra are teaching one another: we are in this together, and no matter how intense or even difficult things might get, our strength is in our willingness to invest deeply in our connection to one another. As the Moon in Aquarius makes a sextile to Jupiter in Sagittarius, look out beyond the horizons of your immediate surroundings for abundant resources that are available to you if only you expand your view.
