The skies are relatively quiet today. The Moon in Gemini makes a square to the Sun in Pisces, entering the waxing quarter phase. This can be a critical turning point in the lunation cycle at which we begin to act on what was planted at the New Moon in Pisces on February 23—which likely initiated a process of healing that retains the trace of the harm we have experiences and reveals how such harms have shaped our lives. As we enter the waxing quarter phase, we may be faced with a choice: do you actually want to heal? Are you ready to address the ways that harm has shaped you? With Mercury—the ruler of the Moon in Gemini—still retrograde in Pisces, the sign of its detriment and fall, we may not yet be capable of putting words to our experiences. It may be that this turning point is actually turning back into memory, doing the vital work of remembering and recovering experiences that have either been forgotten or repressed. When Mercury stations direct on March 9—the same day as the Full Moon in Virgo, Mercury’s second domicile—we may be able to express what we need in order to move toward healing.
