This presentation examines the astrology of significant moments in transgender liberation movements as a context within which to consider the current waves of anti-transgender legislation, primarily in the U.S. Focusing on Saturn and Uranus transits to the charts of the Compton’s Cafeteria Riot in 1966 and the Stonewall Riots in 1969—and correlating those transits with developments in movements for transgender liberation—how might we hold the current political antagonism against transgender people within these larger cycles?
